Gym Motivation Tips

This year has been a roller coaster! Although there has been so many amazing things that have happened. It feels like an equal amount of not so great things have stormed through. Ugh, life. So It is no surprise that its been struggle to consistently get myself into the gym. But no more! Today I decided to write a blog post on my tips and tricks on how I’ve managed to get back on the workout wagon.

  1. New Workout Gear - It’s no surprise but this is my favorite way to motivate myself. It allows me to have a fresh start. Plus, It can be an added motivate to want to go to the gym, so I can wear my new gear! For example, like this playful Fabletics outfit.

  2. Join A Group Workout - If your competitive in anyway or if you typically have no idea what to do at the gym, you will love this. Attending a workout class is a great way to meet new people and push yourself at the gym.  

  3. Write Down How You Feel After Class- This is a really helpful tool. Although I will admit that I am not a fan of working out. I love how I feel after. For me, I always feel more confident, happy, strong and accomplished!

4. Get Dressed and Don’t think About It - It’s as easy as it sounds. Just don’t think twice and get dressed, drive yourself to the gym and show up. The more you contemplate and weigh out the factors, of why or why not, the sooner you’ll talk yourself out of it.

5. Change It Up -  Sometimes doing the same thing over and over, gets old. So changing up your environment and the people, can spice things up. For example, if you usually Crossfit maybe try going on hikes or cycling.
