One of my biggest pet peeves is being hungry and not having anything around to curb my appetite. If I’m running around and doing errands or going from work to the gym, it’s nice to have something light to get you through a few more hours. I am such a big foodie so I like to make sure I have a protein bar in my purse or gym bag, just in case. This routine has really helped me from giving in to the temptation of making an unhealthy fast food run. Today, I wanted to share with you my top five favorite protein bars that I love to keep at arm’s reach.
If you haven’t heard of Power Crunch bars let me tell you, they’re amazing! Think of a waffle/ a healthy creamy shake, and that sums up their french vanilla creme bar. Sounds too good to be true? Well it doesn’t end there. If you like Starbucks and you’re familiar with a caramel macchiato, holy moly, try their salted caramel protein bar, it tastes just like it.
ThinkThin protein bars are so delicious and my favorite flavor is Lemon Delight. It tastes exactly like a lemon meringue pie, but better! It has a creamy exterior, soft to the bite and I can eat these all day! Literally.
In case you like white chocolate just as much as me, try Quest Bar in white chocolate raspberry. I have referred this protein bar to so many of my friends who are looking for a healthy protein bar. It is so hard to find a delicious protein bar that isn’t packed with so many sugars or that don’t have enough protein.
Clif Builder’s protein bar in chocolate mint is my favorite flavor of all time. This bar reminds me of mint chip ice cream and my favorite color, mint green! I will say the consistency is a bit hard to bite into, but it will definitely keep you content.
