I have to admit, my biggest weakness is ice cream. No, seriously. I am a ginormous ice cream fan! Or should I say freak?!? I can have ice cream all day, everyday. In the winter, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You name it, yes please. I’m ready! It’s my favorite treat. Probably just like you, I like to go on Yelp and bookmark new/fun ice cream shops to visit. Guys, it’s the little things that make me happy.
Afters Ice cream has been on my radar for a while. With a blink of an eye it seemed like After’s flooded my Instagram feed and I started getting ice cream fever! So one afternoon, Nico and I decided to go on an adventure and head to Pasadena to finally try this beloved place. Instantly, I was excited and a little nervous. It’s always the worst feeling when places aren’t what you expected, you know?! So I was hoping for the best.
But let’s just say, this trip wasn’t the case, at all. It’s a small stand. Wayyy smaller than expected but still very unique with its vintage gasoline pumps, red picnic tables and stools. Imagine a cute dinner but with ice cream and fun flavors and toppings. Walking up to the small window I asked for their best recommendation and decided to keep it simple and try they’re milk and cereal ice cream flavor with a waffle cone. They’re servings were over the top and delicious! The cereal was perfectly crunchy in every bite/lick, and before I knew it, Nico and I started fighting on whose turn it was to get the next bite! FYI, he’s not an ice cream type of guy. So this was a pretty big deal. And boy o’ boy did we feel happily ever afters.
In honor of this special outing I decided to to keep the theme and wear a cute red daisy dress, heels from Forever 21, Zara handbag and Levis jacket. Just incase the sun decided not to shine today.
