I am a strong believer that false lashes can elevate any look. Especially if your planning a fun night out on the town, with your girlfriends or a date. They can instantly change the mood. Personally, I don’t always wear lashes, as I prefer to save them for special occasions. But I love how they make you look more awake, happy and glamorous. The trick is to just applying them correctly, EVVVVVVVERY time. Ugh, the struggle. Right girls?!? There’s something about having long, full lashes that almost every girl looks for. We all want gorgeous voluminous lashes. Believe it or not wearing false lashes has not always been something I did. You might be wondering, why? Well not to brag but I am lucky in this department, with having long, full lashes. So I just felt, that with that alone and extra coats of mascara, it did the trick. BUT, let me clarify, they are straight and grow downward, so curling my lashes is a constant everyday chore. With that said, for many years I thought your inexpensive lashes were meant for a one time use. Well boy, oh boy, was I wrong. Today, I want to share with you my lash hack, on how and I manage to reuse my inexpensive lashes for update to 3-4 wears. I know, mind blowing, you’re welcome!:)
All you will need is a paper towel, tweezers, alcohol and a soft toothbrush. The trick in all this is to gently remove the adhesive on the lining of the lash, with your handy dandy tweezers. After you’ve removed the adhesive, place the lash on the paper towel and with a clean/ new toothbrush apply alcohol on it and brush the lash from band to end, gently. Repeat this step, until you feel it is as clean as possible.
The idea with this is that you want to sanitize and remove the glue to avoid an eye infection. Keep in mind, that if you brush the lash to harshly you can ruin the shape of the lash. We don’t want this!
