Have you ever seen a piece of clothing, shoes or lipstick and instantly knew that you had to have it?!? Well, guys, that was me with this tweed skirt. The moment I laid my eyes on it, my jaw dropped and I knew I had to have it. There’s something about the delicate fringe, playfully dangling elegantly around the bottom of the skirt, swishing side to side at every step, that just seemed like to me like a diamond in the rough. But of course, the fun slit on the side of the tweed skirt gave it the extra little sass, I personally live for. Did you notice the elastic waistband? I know. I have said this before but as weird as this might sound I love it when clothes have this. It stretches at any size I might wake up too. Let’s be realistic there’s certain times of the month we don’t find ourselves at our best. So for me, it’s a lifesaver. Cinching me in and allowing me to rise the waist at my preferred length. As you can see, I paired my tweed skirt with a simple dark blue turtleneck to enhance the dark tones and wore my favorite burgundy heels. All versatile items I can easily re-wear from what is already in my closet. Also, this skirt is perfect for any occasion. You can wear this to work, happy hour after work or even a date. There is no doubt that this skirt can not only be versatile for everyday use but will turn heads at every given step. Or even if you decided to wear this to quietly sit outside of a coffee shop reading the newspaper on an early Sunday morning (wink, wink).
