For many of us, when we think of floral prints we think, summer, bbq’s, picnics, the beach. We also think of bright tropical colors. For this fall season don’t rule it out completely. Although fall typically consists of pumpkin spice latte’s or cups of hot chocolate and moody dark colors, florals are actually all the rage this season and depending on the type of dress or romper, you’ll be able to incorporate it into this fall’s style, effortlessly. It just takes a few simple pieces. Here are my five tips on how to incorporate your floral summer staples into this fall season.
Jackets:
It can be as simple as denim, leather jacket or even a coat to wear over your dress or romper. It will not only break up the pattern but will keep you warm.
Accessories:
A scarf, or even a statement piece necklace. I think this is self explanatory. It will be a great touch and will change it up.
Stockings:
Wearing a matching pair of stockings or over the knee socks are great options. They not only cover your legs but help you look effortlessly chic.
Shoes:
Depending on your preference, an ankle bootie, an over the knee boot or a simple boot are great options. Pretty much a closed toed shoe for winter is a big winner.
Tops:
If you’re floral dress or romper has short sleeves don’t be scared to experiment with a long sleeve shirt or a knit sweater. You can wear this underneath or even over your dress and it can help change the outfits mood completely.
