Like most, I’m not an expert on just one topic. I love and have always had an interest in many subjects. I think that’s why I always found it difficult to pick just one career path, to pursue. What can I say I like them all equally. Ugh, the struggle.

Have you ever looked in your closet and thought to yourself grrrr, how do I pair this garment without looking like a fluffy marshmallow? Or the worst, you get ready, leave the house and somehow end up taking photos, but then realize you look like your drowning in a sea because you didn’t think to unlayer. In some cases layering is extremely essential to layer your life away but for others it’s no fun! Living in the sunshine state of California, we’re known for the great weather but to be honest I beg to differ. It sometimes feels more unpredictable than predictable.
Here are a few tips on how to layer.
My first tip is to start with your basics, leggings, and a cotton long sleeve or thermal are great starters. They’re essentially lightweight and allow you to layer on without adding too much bulk all at once.
Secondly, insulating your feet. Pairing your outfit with over the knee socks will not only keep you warm but add a bit of character. Even if you’re not intending to expose your socks, they’ll definitely keep you warm.
Third, layering another bottom over your outfit like a pair of shorts or even a skirt to add texture.
Fourth, a comfy knit sweater is always essential. It is always a good idea to keep a few knit’s in your closet for emergencies. They're great to layer over your basic tee.
Fifth, picking a cute pair of boots and even adding a great coat or blazer to tie it all together! If necessary add a cute scarf, to add some pizazz around your neck.
As you can see I created my own sporty look to fit the climate in California. I decided to layer my everyday hoodie from H&M with my nifty blazer from Zara. Along with my high rise mom jeans from Topshop and classic black heels from Zara. Lastly, pairing it all with my favorite handbag from Rebecca Minkoff.

Hair Regrowth Hack
It never fails. Right when you think, all is going so well, you look into the mirror at your reflection and realize something is different. But like most of us we can’t really put our finger on it. We think to ourselves, what is it? But of course, after a while of pondering in the mirror, you come to realize that your hair is thinning. Maybe a little on the brows, on the hairline or your infamous spot where you part your hair. Ugh, why? Inconvenient, I know.
Today, I decided to share with you how I used castor oil to help with regrowth.
Although you typically find castor oil in the home health section of the store, I find that it is one of those items we all need to be reminded to keep stocked in our medicine cabinet. It is inexpensive, easy to find and can be used in so many ways.
If you haven’t noticed, I am an avid hair side parter and currently unsure when this madness will change. But for such a long time I felt like I’ve had to accept the idea that my side part, was always going to be off. It just didn’t seem as full as it once did.
So one afternoon I decided to pull the castor oil out of my medicine cabinet, grabbed a mascara wand and applied a light application of lukewarm, castor oil. The real trick to this is to massage the area near your scalp, circulating the area. While its natural properties help nourish and repair damaged tissues. It promotes strong and healthy regrowth with a noticeable difference in about two weeks.
Before I knew it, it became my added night time routine. I applied a little castor oil to my side part, hairline and brows. And let's just say with consistency and patience it really made a noticeable difference.
